If you practice yoga, you can dance! Come to my workshop tomorrow! The first hour of the workshop will be a vinyasa yoga flow introducing various shapes and exploring the mind-body connection while ensuring proper alignment. In the second hour, students will learn a contemporary dance phrase incorporating the same shapes, and deepening the exploration of how movement promotes healing and self-expression.

1-3pm, all levels, $20 💜

I am currently teaching an Adult Tap Workshop at Loyola University Saturdays 11am-noon, $12 Drop-in, all levels welcome. Beginning in April, I will be teaching original choreography to Bill Withers’ “Ain’t No Sunshine,” which we will perform in the Loyola Preparatory Arts Program Dance Recital on May 19 in Roussel Hall. Participation in the performance is totally optional, free, and for fun!! We will learn and rehearse the choreography in the final classes of the workshop (April 7, 14, 21, 28, and May 5), with some additional (no-cost) rehearsal time after class and in the weeks leading up to the performance. I have decided to move back to New Orleans and am looking for jobs (plural cause you know I always have multiple jobs)! I have my LMSW active in Louisiana and am hoping to get back into the Social Work field, plus I have my Yoga Alliance teacher certification and now a decade of professional dance experience and bartending experience.
